24th of March, 2024
Okay, that may be a little hyperbolic, depending on when you read this. At the time of writing there are still some things to come, some very important things. But for Christians, many of the things we have been expecting have already happened, and they weren’t what we thought.
For those who belong to Jesus, this should come as some relief. It is good news. For those who aren’t, times are going to be quite difficult.
However, we’re getting ahead of ourselves. The key to understanding all this is in Daniel’s prophecy of the 70 weeks.
“Yeah, yeah”, you might be saying, “I’ve heard all this before”. Don’t be so quick to judge. You haven’t heard this interpretation before!
Prophecies Within Prophecies
Daniel 9:24a. “Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, …
A naïve interpretation would be to assume that this is referring to the nation of Israel. And that, to an extent, would be true. But many prophecies have both a physical and a spiritual fulfilment. For instance, the promises to Abraham were on one hand promises to His physical descendants — the nation of Israel — but they were also to the church, being the congregation of faithful believers through all time. Paul makes this distinction explicit in Romans 2:28-29 where he says he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit.
And so it is with the 70 weeks prophecy. There was one fulfilment for physical Israel that led to the Messiah’s first coming. And there is a second fulfilment for spiritual Israel that will lead to the Messiah’s second coming. The holy city could be physical Jerusalem, but it can also refer to the New Jerusalem, the church (Revelation 21:2; 22:19). Likewise your people could be the physical Jews, but it could also be referring to Daniel’s spiritual people. Nondescript terms such as these are sure signs a prophetic passage has multiple applications.
Daniel 9:24b. … To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity …
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity …
The first three aspects of that which will be accomplished during the 70 weeks are things of the flesh, of the physical. Transgression, Iniquity and Sin. In Jesus’ first coming He prepared the way of escape. At His second coming, we, His people, will escape these things for good.
Daniel 9:24c. … To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.
The last three concern things of the spirit. Righteousness, Vision and Anointing. In Jesus’ first coming He was the one who was anointed. At His second coming, His bride, the church, is the Most Holy one who will be anointed (meaning glorified).
What’s missing from this list? Any mention of judgement, retribution, vengeance or wrath. It’s a mistake to assume that everything prophesied will happen within the extent of this final week. 70 weeks were allocated to achieve certain things. Only when the full allotment of time has been exhausted will the judgement take place, and vengeance be taken on the disobedient and wicked.
The First Sixty-Nine Weeks
We’ve all heard the timing of the first fulfilment discussed ad nauseam, but most readers will not have heard that there even was a second fulfilment, let alone the timing of it. Thus, it is on the second fulfilment that we will focus the present discussion.
Daniel 9:25. “Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.
In 1535, when Jerusalem was part of the Ottoman Empire, Sultan Suleiman I ordered the ruined city walls to be rebuilt. The work took some four years, between 1537 and 1541. These are the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem that are standing to this day. [Link]
Below is a photo of the Golden Gate in the wall that surrounds Jerusalem's Old City. Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent rebuilt it together with the city walls, but walled it up in 1541, and it stayed that way [Link]. Legend has it that the Messiah will enter Jerusalem through that gate, and it was sealed to prevent an imposter from doing so. Whether or not the legend turns out to be true is yet to be seen.
Now, Suleiman was not God. The decree to restore Jerusalem, as it came from God to Suleiman, must have pre-dated the public announcement in 1535. Based on our calculations it would have been in the previous year, 1534, but the exact date probably can’t be known, and isn’t important for we now have the benefit of hindsight.
Seven weeks of years and sixty-two weeks of years total 483 years. Adding 483 years to 1534 brings us to 2017, the year we propose the 70th and final week of Daniel’s prophecy began.
Before we dig into that final week, some may not yet be convinced of the timing. You've heard it said, by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. So far we've had but one witness. Another witness should help convince the doubters!
A Second Witness
The command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem is also a reference to the formation of the nation of Israel in 1948.
As these events take place over a much shorter timeframe, a week in the prophecy here represents a year. Sixty-nine years from 1948 also brings us to 2017.
Note that the original Hebrew literally says seventy sevens, not seventy weeks. A seven can refer to anything of which there are seven, and is another of those vague words that indicate a prophecy has more than one intended application. In this case, the seven would be a reference to the seven main feasts in the Hebrew calendar. Each passing of the seven feasts would therefore mark the passing of a year. The last of the seven feasts, the Feast of Tabernacles, is even said to take place at the end of the year (Exodus 23:16).
This next part is sure to be met with some controversy. A prince refers to a ruler, and more specifically in this case, to a president. Even more specifically, to a president of Israel’s biggest supporter, The United States of America. But it’s not just in the prophecy for that reason. In these latter days the U.S. is also the country with the largest number of Christians, so any prophecy about God’s people in the last days would be expected to include it.
And the man elected to the position of president, in January of 2017, was Donald Trump, one of the most polarising figures in American political history. A man referred to in Daniel 9:25 as Messiah the Prince. And to many, he was, and still is, a messiah of sorts.
During those 69 years, from 1948 to 2017, Jerusalem’s street and wall have been rebuilt, and indeed the times have been troublesome.
Daniel 9:26b. “And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
After the 62 weeks does not mean immediately after, and in fact if it did it would be absurd, for there were to be 62 weeks until Messiah the Price. Thus it means sometime after the 62 weeks that the prince will be cut off, which in this case is 4 years. Being cut off, but not for Himself, could well be a veiled reference to election interference, but we won't go any further down that slippery slope!
Daniel 9:26b. And the people of the prince who is to come,
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
Keeping with the theme, the prince who is to come would be the next president, Joe Biden.
His people would be the democrats, the left, the woke, the media, and so on. And indeed they are destroying the city and the sanctuary, if that sanctuary is, in fact, the USA.
As the end will be with a flood, it only sounds as if things are going to get worse for the USA before they get better. The good news is, the end of the war could be sooner than we think, something we will be discussing later in the article. Isn't it always, as they say, darkest before dawn?
The Final Week
So far we’ve read two different interpretations of Daniel’s 70th week, taking place over two different timeframes, and with two different subjects. Verse 27 is where the two interpretations merge into one, with both the 483 years and the 69 years converging on the year 2017.
Because both point to verse 27, we need to interpret verse 27 in its own right, and that is in the context of the main subject of the prophecy — the holy city Jerusalem and the holy people, which is the church of God throughout the earth. So no, Joe Biden is not the antichrist, any more than Donald Trump is the true Messiah.
Daniel 9:27a. “And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; …”
Some translations start verse 27 with the word “Then”, which suggests it takes place after the preceding verse, but that word is not present in the original text. The translation above is correct, and it shows there should be no gap between the 62 weeks and the final week, but rather, that the events in verse 26 overlap those in verse 27 are all part of the same period of time — the 70th and final week.
We're discussing the second coming of the Messiah here so we need to interpret these verses in that context. The cutting off of the Messiah is directly related to confirming the covenant, so the understanding is that a covenant that rejects the Messiah will be confirmed. Furthermore, the word for confirmed means strengthened, implying that such a covenant already existed. We will soon see that the covenant under discussion is none other than the Mosaic covenant; returning to it would be a direct rejection of the Messiah who died once for all and made that covenant obsolete.
So, when was that covenant confirmed? April the 6th, 2017, is the date on which Jewish rabbis sacrificed a lamb near the temple mount. Following is a small section from an article describing the event:
During the long wait for the slaughterer to finish skinning the lamb, which was hung from one of the trees in the plaza, several people were invited to address the crowd. One was MK Yehudah Glick (Likud).
“Master of the Universe, Your nation has gathered here to say, ‘I want to enter into a covenant with You,’” Glick said. “We will sing to You of how much we long, how much we desire to feel Your presence among us.’”
“Master of the Universe, Your nation has gathered here to say, ‘I want to enter into a covenant with You,’” Glick said. “We will sing to You of how much we long, how much we desire to feel Your presence among us.’”
Some might be inclined to reject this view because they are expecting to see a rebuilt Jewish temple. But Paul was clear that the Temple of God is the Body of Christ — the Church. A rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem would not be a fulfilment of the prophecy, nor is it required for the covenant to be confirmed, for the covenant they are confirming is already dead and buried.
That the Jews sacrificed a lamb in this way for the first time in close to 2000 years is a remarkable event and one that has been largely overlooked due to the focus that has been placed on things like the temple or the red heifer, forgetting that the only thing that was relevant to the prophecy was the covenant being confirmed. This is not to say that those other things won’t happen in future — they may or they may not — but if they do just be aware that they are most likely a distraction from the events of real significance.
The Bottomless Pit
In Revelation 17:8 the beast that the woman rides will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. This appears to be during the 70th week, thus the bottomless pit would have to be opened prior to that. If the 70th week is over, as we’re suggesting, wouldn't we have noticed if such a thing had happened?
In 2008, CERN’s Large Hadron Collider was brought online and in 2009 they succeeded (albeit not on their first attempt) at doing what many suspected them of trying to do, which was to open a gateway to another dimension. Or perhaps, releasing the beast that had been imprisoned in the bottomless pit. See the following photo for what this looked like at the time. It was the mysterious blue spiral over Norway.
There are official explanations for this phenomenon, but they are quite laughable. Were it a failed rocket the same phenomenon would be seen more often. No, the unique spectacle over the sea near Norway in 2009 was much more than that.
The Abomination of Desolation
And now for the next controversial part. Please note that the following is conjecture. That is, more than the usual amount of conjecture! Do your own research and decide for yourself.
The beast from the bottomless pit provided knowledge about how humanity could transform themselves into what is tantamount to a super-human. A hybrid of human and serpent. A nephilim, to use the word found in Genesis 6:4.
This would change us from being the image of God to being the image of the beast. In Revelation 13:14 the word make actually means become, and is more often than not translated as such. Reading the text in this manner, it says, And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to become an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.
While the development of this — let’s call it a serum, as that’s essentially what it is — was underway, a plan was also formulated for how they could administer it to as many people as possible, without revealing its true nature. And this is where the so-called COVID-19 “pandemic” and the subsequent response originated. It was never about a virus, but neither was it about money or control. It was always about injecting as many people as possible with this serum; destroying the image of God from the inside out, and without us even realising what was happening.
We were warned that it takes around ten years to develop and test a vaccine, which is why many people didn’t believe the official narrative around the COVID-19 vaccine development. It happened too quickly. However, the bottomless pit was opened in 2009, and ten years later was 2019. Thus there were ten years to develop this serum — and a cover story to go along with it.
All the pieces were in place before they released the manufactured COVID-19 virus in Wuhan. The choice of Wuhan for the initial deployment was clever. Whether or not the biological institute located there was actually involved in anything, it would be a perfect cover. The world could argue about whether the virus was zoonotic or a lab leak, when all the while the real agenda — getting the serum into people — was all they cared about.
In addition to making us spiritually desolate, the jab has also been linked to physical infertility in women, due to the similarity of the spike protein in the jab with a protein found in the placenta. The theory is that the antibodies created against the spike protein also attack the placenta, causing failed pregnancies and miscarriages. It's goal is to make us desolate, both physically and spiritually.
If we are right, the jab is the mark of the beast. Taking the mark in the forehead refers to people who take it because they believe the official story and are acting out of fear (fear being the opposite of love, and God is love). Taking it in the right hand refers to those who take it out of practicality, to keep a job, or to be able to travel, for example.
If you took the COVID-19 vaccine, you may have taken the mark of the beast. But fear not, for God will not allow a single one of His children to be snatched out of His hand. If you’re His child, you are protected, for He says, they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them. Only those who are not God’s children will be harmed by the jab.
This is why we haven’t been allowed to talk about it. Why people have had their careers destroyed for speaking out against the narrative of fear and control. With lockdowns, misinformation, cancel culture, and all the other torments devised by the forces of wickedness, we have been through an unprecedented time of trouble. It has been a great tribulation, but not as we were expecting. It was designed to test our spirits and our hearts. For that is what Jesus is looking for in His Bride — those with a good heart, and who have kept themselves set apart from the world, despite the ensuing trials and tribulations.
The 70th Week Timeline
Let’s take a closer look at the dates for the 70th week now, as that will help put all this in perspective.
The second half of the 70th week, or to be specific, the final 1,260 days, is characterised by the dominion of the beast (Daniel 12:7; Revelation 12:6,14; 13:5).
Daniel was then given two more timeframes (Daniel 12:11). The first was that there would be 1,290 days from the Abomination of Desolation. That places the Abomination of Desolation 30 days before the start of the great tribulation, or 1,230 days after the start of the week, if we assume that the first half of the week also has a duration of 1,260 days.
It then says, in verse 12, Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. This is in the context of the 1,290 days, which end when the 1,260 days do, therefore these are an extra 45 days after the great tribulation has ended.
Thus, the 70th week is comprised of 1,260 days + 1,260 days + 45 days, for a total of 2,565 days. From our start date of April the 6th, 2017, 2,565 days brings us to April the 14th, 2024.
1,230 days after April 6th, 2017 is the 18th of August, 2020, which is the date of the Abomination of Desolation. Is this the day the first serum jabs were officially administered? We cannot know for sure as this has all been done behind closed doors, but we can see circumstantial evidence for it.
One week to the day earlier, on the 11th of August, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia was the first country to give regulatory approval to a COVID-19 “vaccine”, called SPUTNIK V.
The next part is more speculative. Two days after the Abomination of Desolation, on the 20th of August, Alexei Navalny fell into a coma and was later said to have been poisoned with Novichok, a nerve agent. Perhaps that is true, or perhaps he had an adverse reaction to the serum which they had to cover up. Navalny died 1,275 days later, on the 16th of February, 2024, in bizarre circumstances. What happened to him is unclear, but his wife was forced to agree to a “secret” burial. Clearly there is more going on there than the public has been informed of.
The first half of the 70th week ended 30 days after the Abomination of Desolation, which is the 17th of September, 2020. This was the day before Rosh Hashanah on the Hebrew calendar. As we are calculating these figures roughly, without taking into account timezones, a difference of one day is certainly within the expected margin of error. As the Hebrew feasts were a shadow of things to come it was our expectation that major events would fall on these feast days. That the second half of the 70th week does begin on one of the most significant Hebrew feast days is confirmation that we are on the right track.
Praise God that the days of the great tribulation were shortened, for many of the tyrannical restrictions the unjabbed had to endure were lifted in 2023, including the restrictions on international travel (the USA lifted the requirement to be jabbed on May the 11th, 2023). If God had not had mercy on His people by shortening both the intensity and duration of the planned rollout, it is very possible that no flesh would have been saved.
Easter
In our previous works we have been very wrong about the timing of the start of the 70th week. In Delivered from Delusion we argued that the 70th week would start on the day after the Feast of Tabernacles (the Eighth Day of the Feast), and would end at the Feast of Trumpets, with the most likely date for the rapture being the Day of Atonement. The astute reader will note that these are all fall feasts, the theory being that Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts with His first coming, and would fulfil the fall feasts at His second coming.
While this was theoretically sound, it didn’t allow for the depth of prophetic fulfilment that we have now seen God has woven into the fabric of His word. Yes, Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts at His first coming, but His Bride will follow Him when He fulfils them again through Her at His second coming.
Our understanding was partly clouded by incorrectly thinking the Bride was the wheat in the parable of the tares, when in fact she is the barley, the First Fruits of the harvest. The wheat are those in the sheep and goat judgement who didn't know God, and are surprised to hear that they have been saved! It is the wheat harvest that is celebrated by the fall feasts. But for the church, her time to celebrate is during the spring feasts, which we call Easter.
For those who believe that Easter is of pagan origin, just know that our God is a God who knows the end from the beginning, and throughout the last 2,000 years He has been moving us towards the truth, in our knowledge, our calendar and even in our language. In Ezekiel 43:2 it says And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. Our God is from the East, thus Easter as a name is perfectly suitable. Remember, God works in all things for the good of His children, even the things the devil does.
In Revelation 7:9 we see the raptured saints depicted and they are waving palm branches. Both the Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:40) and the triumphal entry on Palm Sunday (John 12:13) involve palm branches, but it is only at the triumphal entry that the crowd waved them as their King entered the city.
As these words are being penned, the date is the 24th of March, 2024 — Palm Sunday on the Christian calendar. Next Sunday, the 31st, is Easter Sunday — the Christian date of the Feast of First Fruits — the day Jesus rose from the dead. Did His resurrection prefigure the rapture of His Bride, even to the day? We don’t know, but at least we don’t have long to wait to find out! Just don't expect it occur in the way we have been taught. Our Father is being far more gentle with us than we imagined. That this is so is evidenced by the fact that the great tribulation is over and we didn’t even know it had started!
The Wrath of God
On the 8th of April, 2024 (a mere 6 days prior to the 14th) a total solar eclipse is going to trace a shadow across North America, completing the cross that was started by the solar eclipse on August the 21st, 2017. Notably, both eclipses fall within the seven years of the 70th week.
The point at which the two paths cross is not just known as the American heartland; it is America’s heart. It is the population centre of the United States.
The eclipse is literally crossing America’s heart. It signifies (it’s a sign of) the end of the 70th week — the end of the terrible times of trouble — and shows that the heart of God is, and always has been, with His people.
For those not familiar with the pre-wrath rapture view, its main distinguishing characteristic is that it doesn’t equate the tribulation with God’s wrath. We see this view portrayed in Revelation 15, where the raptured saints are seen, and as per verse 2, it is after the time of great tribulation and the mark of the beast. Yet, it is prior to God’s wrath being complete. In Delivered from Delusion we argued that day 1,335 — the day that would be a blessing to those who wait — would be the beginning of the wrath of God. Despite our start date being incorrect, it looks like we had most other things right, and so far this is looking right too.
The proof text we used was from Zephaniah, keeping in mind that in Daniel 12:12 it says blessed is he who waits.
Zephaniah 3:8. “Therefore wait for Me,” says the Lord,
“Until the day I rise up for plunder;
My determination is to gather the nations
To My assembly of kingdoms,
To pour on them My indignation,
All My fierce anger;
All the earth shall be devoured
With the fire of My jealousy.
“Until the day I rise up for plunder;
My determination is to gather the nations
To My assembly of kingdoms,
To pour on them My indignation,
All My fierce anger;
All the earth shall be devoured
With the fire of My jealousy.
The world is going to see the fury of the One they profaned, but we do not need to be afraid. Rather, for those who have been tormented by the wickedness in the world, it will be a time of great blessing. And despite what happens, we can have confidence that God’s wrath will not touch us.
Isaiah 26:20-21. Come, my people, enter your chambers,
And shut your doors behind you;
Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment,
Until the indignation is past.
For behold, the Lord comes out of His place
To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
The earth will also disclose her blood,
And will no more cover her slain.
And shut your doors behind you;
Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment,
Until the indignation is past.
For behold, the Lord comes out of His place
To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
The earth will also disclose her blood,
And will no more cover her slain.
Psalm 91:7. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
Matthew 13:41-43. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Luke 21:28. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.
P.S. We apologise for the late notice.
